OUT OF BUSINESS

I was recently informed that Val has decided to close the school for "she does not have enough students." Which should come to no surprise to her nor the community. Hopefully this is not another one of her schemes to reopen as a new school, under a different name in Wichita. I don't think we should let our guard down just yet. I think it may be a blessing that we have reached enough parents and that she has burned enough bridges that she cannot keep up the act any longer.
Yet this also brings up a good question... what is going to happen the parent's money who paid for their "spot" at this school that no longer exists? A refund? Not from Val Weeks. She does not refund anything to anyone, even when she is obligated to do so.
I have to say that knowing that ECAP Academy, Paige Academy, or Val Weeks herself is no longer "teaching," I mean mistreating these kids any longer allows me to sleep a little better.
Hopefully, where ever she attempts to become employed at will do an extensive research on who Val Weeks truly is.

Check the list!

Please check the posted list of Val's current creditors on the site www.ecapacademy.com. You can check it to see if you are listed. I am glad that I did for I was not aware that I was on list. I did not receive any of the appropriate paperwork from the courts. I am sure that she gave an incorrect address as she did for many others.

It is also quite the eye opener to see the other companies or individuals that she owes as well.

I want to thank the family that owns and runs the original site for putting the stories out there. I was misled for many years which in turn led my name to be used invalidly. Never would I have stood by such a person knowing the things that I do now. She is good at what she does, such as her lies, conning, and playing the poor me act. I have never in my life known someone who can pull the tears as she does.

Val's bankruptcy notice was published in the Eagle this morning.
Weeks, Valerie L., liabilities $175,125, assets $22,600
I wonder if this is a true amount. Do you have to have a certain amount to apply for chapter 7? I could see her making some of this up to get a clean slate.
If her assets are only $22,600, why can't they take over her business? You would think that there would be some kind of money there, that is if she has any students returning next year. That or make it to where she can't reopen unless she pays some of this back.
How can she continue to run a business after her 2nd bankruptcy?!? Something is not right here... but how do we stop it?

Enough is enough

Welcome to our blog. This was created for parents and victims of Val Weeks. She claims to be a gifted facilitator but truly is nothing but a con artist. She has taken advantage of the legal system, parents and sadly enough our children. She has taken tons of money from people and we have now have nothing to show for it. The question remains what can we do about it?!?

I welcome you to post comments, concerns, and suggestions on this blog. Together we can do something about this. Enough is enough.
